Providing compassionate, evidence-based psychological care for individuals and couples navigating life's most challenging moments.
PhD Clinical Psychology · CPA Registered
I'm Dr. Eleanor Marsh, a clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience helping individuals and couples navigate complex emotional landscapes. My practice is built on the belief that healing happens within a relationship grounded in trust, empathy, and genuine understanding.
After completing my PhD at the University of Toronto and postdoctoral training at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), I developed a specialized approach that integrates evidence-based modalities with the deeply human art of therapeutic presence.
My work is guided by a simple principle: every person deserves to feel seen, understood, and supported without judgment. Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or life transitions, I provide a space where you can explore your experience with safety and dignity.

One-on-one sessions addressing anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, and personal growth in a confidential setting.
Emotionally Focused Therapy to help couples rebuild connection, improve communication, and navigate conflict with compassion.
Evidence-based interventions combining CBT, mindfulness, and behavioral activation for lasting emotional relief.
Secure, HIPAA-compliant video therapy for those who prefer or require the flexibility of remote sessions.
My therapeutic framework draws from the best of contemporary clinical science while honoring the deeply personal nature of healing. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all approaches — instead, I integrate proven methods to create a treatment plan uniquely suited to you.
We begin with a thorough understanding of your history, current challenges, and goals — building the foundation for meaningful work.
Together, we design a clear, flexible roadmap that integrates the most effective therapeutic modalities for your specific needs.
You'll develop practical tools, emotional resilience, and self-awareness that extend far beyond the therapy room into everyday life.
Our goal isn't just symptom relief — it's building the foundations for lasting wellbeing, authentic relationships, and a fulfilling life.

While every therapeutic journey remains confidential, some clients have generously shared reflections on their experience.
Working with Dr. Marsh was the first time I truly felt understood. Her ability to hold space for both my pain and my hope changed everything. I came in feeling broken and left feeling whole.
My partner and I were on the verge of separation. Dr. Marsh helped us see each other again — not as adversaries, but as two people who wanted the same thing: to love and be loved well.
I was skeptical about online therapy, but Dr. Marsh created the same sense of safety and presence through a screen as she would in person. She's exceptionally skilled at what she does.
Starting therapy can feel uncertain. Here are answers to questions many clients have before their first session.
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. I'll ask about your background, what's bringing you in, and what you hope to achieve. There's no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with. By the end, we'll have a preliminary understanding of how to proceed, and you can decide if we're a good fit.
It varies. Some clients find relief in 8–12 sessions for specific concerns like anxiety or life transitions. Others engage in longer-term work for deeper patterns, trauma, or relationship issues. We'll regularly review progress and adjust our plan together — you're always in control of the pace.
I am registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, which means my services are covered by most extended health insurance plans. I provide detailed receipts you can submit directly to your insurer. I recommend checking with your provider about your specific coverage for psychological services.
Individual sessions (50–60 min) are $225. Couples sessions (75–90 min) are $285. I have a limited number of sliding-scale spots available for those experiencing financial hardship — please don't hesitate to ask about this option.
Research consistently shows that online therapy can be equally effective for many concerns, including anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. I use a secure, encrypted platform that meets HIPAA standards. Many clients appreciate the convenience without feeling they're compromising on quality.
I ask for at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations. Sessions cancelled with less notice are subject to the full session fee. This policy allows me to offer that time to another client who may be waiting. I understand that life is unpredictable, and I handle exceptions with understanding and fairness.
You don't need to have it all figured out before reaching out. A brief consultation call will help us determine if we're a good match — no commitment, no pressure, just a conversation.
